About Us
Working with Mid-South Insurance Group means interacting with a real person who has your best interest at heart. That’s me, Elizabeth. I have been in the business for 26 years, with experience on both the employer and carrier side of the insurance process. My approach is to not be a “sales person,” but a consultant, educator and advocate.
My main focus is group benefits, currently working with businesses that range from 2 employees to 1800. I partner with employers to identify robust, cost-effective benefits for their employees, while also helping to handle and explain billing and claim issues. Need individual insurance for yourself or key employees? I can help with that, too.

- Simplified information. It’s our passion to follow all aspects of the insurance business and the constantly changing healthcare system. We simplify it all to educate employers and employees.
- Ongoing support. Our services don’t end after we develop your program. We also provide compliance, helping employees navigate the complex healthcare system.
As a lifelong resident of the Mid-South, I have a deep understanding of the needs and idiosyncrasies of the people and companies around here. Growing up on the beaches of Alabama and farms of Mississippi, I spent my early days riding horses, enjoying the outdoors and navigating Vicksburg society. These days, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children at our “get away” outlets on the lake and at the farm . While I’ll always be one who loves the simple life, I also truly enjoy being an expert in the intricacies of the insurance world and serving as a guide to my clients.
My experience in the business gives me a unique perspective, the confidence to negotiate effectively and an ability to navigate what can sometimes be a complicated or intimidating system. Most importantly, I am here for you – either in-person in the office or reachable by phone if an emergency occurs. No matter the insurance challenge, I can help you to get the information or resolution you need. Who knows, we might even have a little bit of fun along the way.
